William is a Group Board Director and a member of the Investment Committee and the Audit and Valuation Committee. His primary responsibilities include the sourcing of capital, and management of LH’s investment programmes and strategy. He is also actively involved in the origination and execution of transactions undertaken by the business.
Having over 20 years experience, William previously held the position of Director with Consensus Business administering the acquisition, financing and management of over £2bn of assets with finance from a diverse range of sources, including but not limited to senior bank debt, rated bank conduit structures, hedge funds and publicly listed AAA securitisations.
James is a Group Board Director and a member of the Investment Committee, Risk and Compliance Committee, Remuneration Committee and Chairs the ESG Committee. He is responsible for day-to-day operations and oversees all real estate-related transactions, principally taking responsibility for overseeing the Multifamily investment programme. He co-founded Long Harbour in 2009.
James has spent 21 years successfully originating and executing on a range of asset-backed investments across a range of geographies and sectors. He has held investment roles in a number of companies including Pelham London Limited, Parkwood Asset Management and Cityreal.
Richard is a Group Board Director, a member of the Investment Committee, the Audit and Valuation Committee and Chairman of the Group’s Risk and Compliance Committee. He is responsible for the Secured Income programme covering the UK and Europe, covering strategy, asset origination, structuring and the portfolio management. Richard is a member of the Residential Committee at the British Property Federation and a member of the executive committee at the Residential Freeholder Association.
With 30 years experience, prior to joining Long Harbour Richard was Managing Director of Consensus Capital where he was responsible for over £2 billion through the acquisition, funding and associated hedging of real estate and infrastructure-style regulated assets. In his early career he spent 15 years at a number of UK and international banks acting as an advisor and funder of energy related project finance transactions across Europe and North America.
Jack is Managing Director of Single Family Housing and also a member of the Investment Committee.
Previously, Jack ran Long Harbour’s UK residential Secured Income programme, which has deployed ~£2bn to date in residential freeholds via 1,300 individual real estate acquisitions. Jack also holds Board positions at the British Property Federation as the Chair of the Leasehold Reform Committee, the Residential Freehold Association and is Member of the Association for Rental Living’s committee on Single Family.
Douglas is the Group Finance Director and a member of the Risk and Compliance Committee. He brings wide ranging expertise to the day to day asset management of the underlying funds, and completion of corporate and asset transactions. His oversight responsibilities cover the finance, accounting, tax, treasury, risk management and regulatory compliance of the firm as an AIFM (Alternative Investment Fund Manager).
Douglas worked at Moore Stephens LLP (now "BDO") from 2000 to 2012. Having qualified as a chartered accountant in 2001, Douglas provided audit and assurance services to a client base comprising of high-net worth family office investment and hedge funds, shipping and real estate clients (both private and public). Douglas was credited with a CISI certificate in FSA Financial Regulation in 2012.
Adriana is the Fund Management Accountant for the Multifamily funds, joining the team in June 2020. Adriana is responsible for the management accounting requirements of the funds. Prior to joining, Adriana spent twelve years at Capital & Regional Property Management as a Group Accountant gaining experience within the property sector. Adriana is ACCA part-qualified.
Aleisha is Fund Finance Manager for the Multifamily funds, joining the team in November 2019. Aleisha is responsible for all the accounting and reporting requirements of the funds. Prior to joining, Aleisha spent three years at Get Living. Aleisha also holds a Master of Accounting degree from the National University of Ireland, Galway, and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2015, training with PwC.
Anna is Group General Counsel and is part of the senior leadership team. Anna leads a team providing strategic, commercial and pragmatic advice for every area of Long Harbour’s business including fundraisings, deployment of investment capital, partnerships, restructurings, fund structuring and entry into new markets. Anna has extensive experience of leading complex, high value, and strategically important projects. Anna spent the first decade of her career in US and City law firms before moving in-house where she has had a number of leadership roles in different sectors. She is passionate about developing junior and aspiring lawyers and regularly mentors’ people through a variety of schemes.
Brittini is a Fund Management Accountant for the Multifamily funds and joined the team in July 2022. Brittini is responsible for the management accounting requirements of the funds. Prior to joining, Brittini spent 4 years at Inspirational Development Group as Assistant Financial Controller. Brittini is AAT-qualified and ACCA part-qualified. Brittini is currently studying to complete ACCA.
Camilla joined the Long Harbour Multifamily Team in October 2022 as a Development Manager. Camilla's focus is on the development of new schemes. Prior to joining Long Harbour, Camilla held positions at Dominus Group and Puma Investments, where she gained experience in identifying, purchasing, developing, and disposing of real estate in landmark locations in London and across the UK.
Catherine joined Long Harbour in 2017 and supports the corporate group function as part of the Legal team. She is a member of the Risk and Compliance Committee. Catherine’s responsibilities include deal execution and drafting and negotiating commercial contracts. Catherine is currently on maternity leave.
Chris joined Long Harbour in 2024, supporting various communications efforts, including investor relations and fundraising activities. Chris helps to manage relationships with existing investors and contributes to the broader fundraising outreach program. This includes monitoring activities and identifying potential new investors. Previously, Chris served as an Assistant Investor Relations Manager at Eurowag, worked as a strategy analyst at Sky, and gained experience in various marketing teams at Red Bull. Chris holds a Certificate in Investor Relations (2023) and a Prince2 Project Management Foundation Certificate (2022)
Christian joined Long Harbour in 2019 as an Associate and was promoted to Associate Director in 2022. Christian oversees all asset management activities, his core objective is to work on the existing assets under management as well as the growing pipeline under construction for the multifamily investment programme. Christian also oversees the entire property management function, ownership of reporting and valuation responsibilities whilst successfully growing income and increasing the value of the assets, as well as onboarding and stabilising newly developed assets. This resulted in his deserved promotion to Associate Director in January 2023. Prior to joining, Christian spent over 8 years at Grainger Plc., 6 of which were spent as an Asset Manager on the GRIP JPUT which latterly converted to a REIT, a stabilised 2000+ unit portfolio with a gross asset value of close to £700m and considered one of the largest PRS Funds in the UK at the time. Christian became a Chartered Member of the RICS in 2014.
Christophe is a Senior Advisor at Long Harbour, providing guidance to the firm on business development, fundraising, investor relations and corporate development. Christophe’s network of global investors has been a critical component of Long Harbour’s success, including his high-level relationship with PSP Investments which was instrumental in securing funding for LHMF in 2019. Prior to joining Long Harbour, Christophe was Managing Director at Colony Capital (now Colony Northstar), Founder and CEO of Capital Marketing Agency, European Head of Real Estate Private Funds at Credit Suisse, Managing Director of LaSalle Investment Management in London, Resident Vice President at Citibank and Assistant Vice President at Credit Commercial de France.
Daire is responsible for the accounting and finance of the firm’s land development investments, which includes the preparation of financial metrics and management accounts. Prior to joining Long Harbour, Daire obtained a degree in Business Accounting and Finance from Newcastle University as part of the PwC sponsored ‘Flying start’ programme before qualifying as a chartered accountant whilst working in the Banking & Capital Markets audit department at PwC.
Elizabeth joined the Long Harbour Multifamily team in October 2021 as the Legal and Transactions Director. She oversees all legal and transaction management for Multifamily Transactions and has overseen the deployment of circa £567m of equity since and is a member of the Multifamily senior leadership team. Prior to joining Long Harbour, Elizabeth spent over 15 years at City law firm CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang LLP. She has extensive experience of leading complex and high value property transactions stretching across all asset classes. As a senior member of the team, she was actively involved in mentoring and coaching junior staff.
Emily joined Long Harbour in October 2022 as Office Receptionist. She has a background in retail, customer service and the serviced office industry. Emily manages the front desk, meeting spaces and office inventory, whilst also overseeing office services. Additionally, she is actively involved in the Charity Committee and the Health and Wellbeing Committee.
Francisco is a Systems Manager with over 10 years experience across multiple industries, optimising processes by incorporating digital solutions. Francisco is an expert in market ready systems set-up and implementation projects, process automation, data analysis and optimising user-journeys. Francisco has a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Bath. He is also fluent in Spanish.
Gabrielle joined Long Harbour in 2011. She plays an integral part in transaction execution, debt execution and investor reporting within the Single Family team. Previously, Gabrielle has been a key member of the Secured Income origination and transactional team, handling numerous portfolio acquisitions each year. Gabrielle also negotiated and concluded multiple corporate transactions and successfully secured output agreements with a range of housebuilders. Gabrielle is actively involved in the platforms financing arrangements. Prior to joining Long Harbour, Gabrielle studied Physics at the University of St Andrews.
Gemma joined the Long Harbour Multifamily Team in January 2022 as Development Director. Gemma's focus is on the new development schemes and she is currently leading the delivery of the groups first Direct Development, a c£300m BTR scheme known as The Eades in Walthamstow. She has over 18 years’ experience in Property Development of high end, mixed-use, residential projects across the full development life cycle. Gemma is familiar with the central London market and has also worked on regeneration schemes all over the UK.
Gena is a Project Manager in the Data and Technology Team with experience leading cross-functioning teams to deliver high-impact projects. Gena has successfully led diverse teams, ensuring projects meet their objectives within scope, time, and budget constraints. With a keen eye for detail and a strategic mindset, Gena’s proactive approach to problem solving have been key in navigating project challenges and driving successful outcomes. Gena holds a Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) certification and is well-versed in Agile methodologies, successfully implementing digital transformation projects.
Geordie joined Long Harbour in 2013. He focuses on originating with existing relationships with agents, housebuilders and other key parties in securing opportunities within the Single Family team. Previously Geordie was focused on originating, managing and undertaking due diligence on stand alone transactions within Secured Income, ensuring all completed acquisitions were seamlessly handed over to the operational management side of Long Harbour. Prior to joining Long Harbour, Geordie studied at the University of Newcastle.
Hina joined the firm in July 2023 and is the Accounts Payable Assistant to the Finance team. Hina assists with daily task of reconciling accounts, processing invoices, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations for all Long Harbour Group companies. Prior to joining Long Harbour, Hina worked in the banking industry for over 16 years and has two years’ experience in accounting. Hina has part qualified as an AAT.
Hiroki joined Long Harbour in 2023 as a Modelling Analyst and is responsible for the development of the firm’s fund management, acquisition and corporate management models. Hiroki provides financial modelling support to the living sector investors and corporate finance team. Prior to joining Long Harbour, Hiroki was an executive at BDO’s transaction services team. He is qualified as a chartered accountant and is CFA qualified. Hiroki holds a degree in Philosophy and Psychology from the University of Edinburgh.
Hugh works to support and manage the regulatory risk and compliance requirements for the Long Harbour Group. Hugh is a qualified UK Barrister and has worked for many years in the City for significant international investment firms in senior director capacities, particularly focussing on investment management compliance in UK and globally and with Ultra High Net Worth Private Banking operations. Hugh’s last major role in the City was as a Global Compliance Director for a major international banking organisation’s high net worth private banking division.
James joined Long Harbour as an Analyst for the Single Family Housing Team in July 2023. His main responsibilities include the underwriting and assessment of potential investment opportunities. Prior to joining Long Harbour, James studied at the University of Bristol. Following his degree, James worked as an Advisor in Latent Defects Insurance and Development Finance.
Jeffrey is a Senior Management Accountant in the Finance team. He oversees the finance function of three main operating companies and assists the Group Financial Controller in group finance reporting. He relocated to the UK in 2021 and began his career as a Financial Accountant in the fintech sector. Jeffrey is a qualified ACA & HKICPA, having completed his certifications in 2021 and 2019, respectively. Prior to joining Long Harbour, Jeffrey has held various key roles in his career as a tax manager and senior auditor.
John joined the Long Harbour Multifamily team of Long Harbour in 2018 as a Development and Construction Director. John oversees all construction activities for Long Harbour's forward fund and forward purchase investments. To date John has successfully delivered all of the LHIF and LHMF developments totalling over 1,350 units. This includes the turnkey fit out of Amenity Spaces at all assets and delivery of commercial spaces to the assets and oversight of Retail Unit fit outs. Within Long Harbour John is also a member of the ESG Committee’s. Prior to joining, John spent 4 years at Gardiner and Theobold in Project Management for high end hotels, residential developments and commercial office projects across London with a total GDC of £1bn. John has been actively involved and led from the project brief stage through planning, delivery, mobilisation and handover, bringing over 15 years of experience in Project Management to Long Harbour.
Josh joined Long Harbour in 2016 from a background in finance and real estate. Josh is primarily responsible for origination, underwriting and execution of investment opportunities within the Single Family team. Previously, Josh was responsible for origination and execution of UK long leasehold and freehold interest alongside developing and managing new and existing housebuilder relationships within Secured Income. Prior to joining Long Harbour, Josh held positions at TP ICAP and BGC Partners specialising in currency markets.
As a Trainee Paralegal Kelly is currently undertaking the CILEX Professional Qualification (CPQ) Foundation Programme. Kelly provides valuable support to Long Harbour’s Legal and Compliance Teams in their daily operational and regulatory functions. Kelly joined Long Harbour in 2019 and her responsibilities include document and contract review and management of Compliance reporting and monitoring. Kelly also attends and minutes the Risk & Compliance Committee, ESG Committee, and Digital Committee Meetings. Prior to joining Long Harbour, Kelly worked for over 6 years in Chambers as a Barrister’s Clerk and more recently as a Legal Secretary for CMS.
As Group Financial Controller, Madeline’s responsibilities include working closely with senior management to ensure efficient and effective financial control for all management businesses of Long Harbour and its subsidiaries. In addition, she leads the Finance team, and oversees the day-to-day running of the financial operations, inclusive of budgeting, forecasting, reporting and annual group audits. Having qualified as a chartered accountant in 2018, Madeline gained a wealth of experience as the UK Financial Manager of a Singaporean listed REIT and was instrumental in the technical listing of the UK subsidiaries. Madeline was responsible for overseeing £750m AUM for this Commercial Real Estate Fund as well as securing substantial company acquisitions and strategic refinancing. Madeline also gained valuable experience working as the Deputy Finance Manager at a privately funded UK real estate firm. This company specialised in the development of care homes within the Healthcare sector as well as mixed-use Residential-Commercial developments.
Marian joined Long Harbour in 2018 and brings vast management, administrative and legal experience to assist the smooth running of the Single Family team. Marian is the Executive Assistant to Richard Silva and Jack Spearman and also an Acquisitions Manager. Prior to joining Long Harbour, Marian studied at the University of Surrey and has also spent many years working for leading law firms in the City and the West End of London. Her experience is primarily in Property and Corporate Finance Law. Marian also started her own company, providing business consultancy services to clients which she ran successfully for over 10 years.
Matthew has over five years in the industry working as a highly skilled data analyst. He oversees the whole of the data environment, covering the creation and maintenance of ETL pipelines & data warehouses, producing analysis and reporting, as well as being the point of contact for any related queries and requests. Matthew has a Masters Degree in Physics and is an expert in statistical analysis, cloud computing, Tableau, SQL databases and Python.
Mel is the Executive Assistant to James Aumonier, Chief Operating Officer. Mel joined Long Harbour in September 2022 and manages both James’ business and private affairs. Mel has 25 years’ experience working with Senior Leadership & UHNW families in the Real Estate & Financial Sectors and brings a wealth of knowledge from her variety of roles starting her working life as a Beauty Therapist, Salon Owner, Teacher & Examiner. More recently, Mel worked at Cushman & Wakefield looking after the Global Head of GOS & OS EMEA.
Pippa joined the Long Harbour Multifamily Team in July 2022 as an Investment and Finance Analyst and was promoted to Financial Associate in 2023. Pippa provides support across all acquisition underwriting and investment management processes within the Multifamily business. She also has prime responsibility for developing and maintaining key analytical tools that underpin these investment processes. Prior to joining Long Harbour, Pippa worked at LGIM Real Assets as a Business Partner contributing to asset and fund management and financial activities. Pippa trained at EY and is a Chartered Accountant.
Rachel is the Personal Assistant to Rebecca Taylor and Team Coordinator for the Multifamily team. She joined Long Harbour in 2018 and her responsibilities include diary management, organising travel, events and conferences as well as supporting the delivery team on the design process for schemes in development. Prior to joining Long Harbour, Rachel worked in a front of house position for two years.
Rahul joined Long Harbour in 2023 and his main responsibilities include supporting the asset management, investmement management and acquisition functions whilst supporting multifamily and group level ESG strategy and performance. Rahul holds a degree in Economics from the University of Birmingham.
Rebecca is the Managing Director of Long Harbour's Multifamily business, overseeing investment, development, operations and the senior leadership team. Since joining Long Harbour in 2015, Rebecca has deployed over £1bn of equity and leads on the LHMF JV which is a £1.5bn partnership with PSP Investments and Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan. Rebecca has over 18 years experience in development and investment having worked in projects in Australia, UK, Ireland and UAE. Prior to joining Long Harbour, Rebecca spent eight years at Laing O'Rourke working in their property and investment team including their offsite housing solution and a number of PFI/PPP deals. She holds an undergraduate degree in Nuclear Medicine from the University of Sydney and a Masters in Property Investment. She is the Chair of the BPF BTR Committee and is the Co-Chair of the UKAA Midlands Hub.
Richard joined the Long Harbour Multifamily Team in 2021 and heads the investment management and corporate finance business. Richard is also a member of the Multifamily senior leadership team. As Capital Solutions Director, Richard is responsible for debt financing and hedging across the group. He also leads the investment management team within the business, which involves the evolution and delivery of asset and portfolio investment strategies, overseeing operational performance on all standing assets and supporting M&A transactions. Richard has over 25 years of experience within the corporate finance advisory, investment and banking sectors. Previous roles include Group Treasurer at Quintain, the Lone Star-backed property company and BtR operator; and heading one of the real estate lending teams at Lloyds Bank, where he was instrumental in launching the £1 bn commercial real estate green lending programme. Richard started his career at Bank of Scotland having read classics at Oxford University.
Rory joined the Long Harbour Multifamily Team in 2013 as an Associate and has progressed through various roles from asset management to acquisitions to his current position of Associate Director. Rory's primary responsibilities are deal origination and transaction execution. This includes leading on sourcing opportunities, the due diligence process, detailed financial modelling, commercial negotiation and presentation and reporting in line with the investment processes. Rory has been integral to the formation of Long Harbour's Multifamily platform and the entire lifecycle of PRS/BtR assets from purchase, asset management and all the way through to exit. Rory holds an undergraduate degree in real estate.
Rosie joined Long Harbour in 2022 as the Executive Assistant to William Astor, Chief Executive Officer. Rosie works to ensure the smooth running of both his business and family life. Prior to joining Long Harbour, Rosie ran a boutique PR agency specialising in design and landscape architecture. More recently she spent several years working as a Private Executive Assistant to Middle Eastern diplomats both in London, Riyadh and Washington DC.
Ruby is the Personal Assistant to the Group Finance Director and Team Assistant to the Finance team. Ruby is responsible for diary management, assistance with investor and statutory reporting and providing general administrative support to the Finance department. Ruby has previous experience within finance, working in personal tax for a UK top 50 accountancy firm for three years, and as an office manager within the recruitment industry, specialising in asset and investment management.
Ruchit has over 10 years experience working across Finance, Operations and Technology roles. He is responsible for creating and delivering multi-year digital change strategies, product development and data architecture strategies for the Long Harbour Group for over six years. Ruchit focuses on high value solutions that help optimise business efficiency, productivity and output, with oversight of all systems, data and project management teams. He has delivered over 50 digital transformation projects successfully, on-time and on-budget, ensuring that strategic goals are being aligned with business needs. He encourages an open collaborative environment for both internal teams and clients, yielding innovation and a foundation for businesses to scale and continuously improve. Ruchit has an Honours degree in Mathematics with Engineering and is also a qualified ACA Chartered Accountant. Ruchit has also previously established an on-line and physical retail business and international finished goods trading company.
Stephen joined Long Harbour in November 2019, bringing a wealth of experience in the construction and property industries, supporting Long Harbour's living sector growth ambitions. Stephen is a Civil Engineer with over 40 years’ experience in major projects and social infrastructure covering construction, development and investment. Most recently he was Head of Investments at Laing O’Rourke for over 12 years building a portfolio of over £2bn in the UK and Canada. He was also the JV director for the Northern Line Extension and the Thames Tideway Tunnel in London, both projects were c. £0.75 bn in value. Prior to that he was the Director for Project Finance and Facilities Management at Bovis Lend Lease for over 13 years building up a portfolio of over £2.5 bn of assets in the UK, Ireland, Spain and Italy. Stephen was also a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young for 3 years in Property and Construction working on the Administration of Olympia and York at Canary Wharf and the sale of PSA to the private sector. Stephen has more recently been very involved in driving Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) and Digital Engineering in the sector with a view to providing more sustainable and efficient assets.
Tabitha joined the Long Harbour Group in 2017 and manages investor relations and communications for the firm, building positive relationships with clients and the public through investor relations, public relations and brand marketing. Tabitha has played an important part in the group's fundraising efforts and leads the project management of the fundraising processes. In 2019 Tabitha obtained the Certificate in Investor Relations and in 2024 the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing.
Will joined the Long Harbour Multifamily Team as a Senior Associate in 2021 and was promoted to Associate Director in 2022. As a member of the Multifamily acquisitions team his key responsibilities include sourcing, underwriting, and transacting on build-to-rent investment opportunities. Will has expertise across the real estate lifecycle, from investment and funding to planning and development. Having previously worked as a management consultant, Will has spent the majority of his career in real estate specialising in the alternative residential sector. In addition to multifamily housing, he has knowledge and experience of purpose-built student accommodation, co-living and affordable housing. Will holds Masters-level degrees in both real estate and law.
